Over the period of 2004 through 2010, the Federal Aviation Administration has contracted Lockheed Martin to replace the entire data processing infrastructure of its 20 Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs) under a program known as En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM). FAA Technical Operations personnel require training in the control and maintenance of the new en route systems. PDRI (PTI) has worked with Lockheed to provide this highly-technical training, developing four CBT courses tailored to the three ARTCC Technical Operations disciplines. Students will take a specified set of the CBT courses at their own pace, to be followed by classroom and laboratory training at the FAA Academy.
The CBT is delivered at the student’s worksite using an FAA-standard PC platform and LMS. All of the CBT courses are narrated and provide high fidelity to the workstation environment. The FAA modernization program is phased, and will require PDRI to provide periodic updates to all course materials through 2010. Return to Learning Solutions Sample Products |
