HR Systems Development and Integration

We drive integration through the use of hierarchical competency models and integrated IT systems. This ensures alignment of different HR systems, enabling them to work in combination to achieve effective human capital management and help employees understand how different systems are related. PDRI’s model for HR systems development and integration is presented below.

We begin with the development of a corporate competency model which is then defined at a lower level of specificity to develop performance objectives and standards. The model is further specified in terms of technical knowledge and skills that are necessary to develop training and staffing processes. We have used this approach to develop integrated human capital systems in many Federal agencies, including the intelligence community, DHS, and FBI, among many others.
