Assessment of an agency’s human capital practices entails determining the numbers of employees in different occupations and their characteristics. We conduct research and use statistical modeling to understand current workforce trends, project workforce needs and gaps, and develop remediation strategies to ensure future needs are met.
To manage and utilize human capital effectively, organizations need to know which individuals possess which skills and experience. We have had extensive experience developing systems to house and retrieve critical personnel information that can readily be used to make assignment decisions and to meet workforce requirements.
We conduct cost-benefit and other analyses to determine the most effective means for addressing current and future gaps (e.g., hiring in different skill areas, retraining and retooling, or outsourcing).
