Development & Validation of Assessment Tools & Selection Systems

Most organizations name the identification of top talent as one of their most difficult strategic challenges. Systems designed to meet the challenge need to not only to meet organizational requirements, but also be professionally and legally defensible. PDRI has developed personnel selection and promotion systems for both private and public organizations, large and small corporations, federal and state agencies, and all branches of the military.

Many traditional testing procedures used for selection and promotion decisions may be unfair or inappropriate for particular individuals. Results of such misplacement include dissatisfaction, lowered productivity, increased turnover, and even litigation. Nobody wins. PDRI has developed numerous inventories, tests, and questionnaires adapted to specific job requirements to provide innovative alternatives to traditional procedures.

Using our expertise in job analysis, test development, performance appraisal, data processing, measurement of individual differences, and statistics, PDRI has undertaken and completed many extremely ambitious and methodologically sophisticated projects. We have become a leader in consortium research requiring coordination of many companies’ efforts over periods of time extending anywhere from a few months to several years.
